Chapter 1 · 02:08

Boundary, request or control?

Distinguish your own choices from controlling another person's freedom.

The timestamp helps you find this topic once the video is published.

These fictional examples help you practise. They do not determine whether you should stay or leave. If you feel afraid or pressured, confidential support matters more than finding the perfect response.

All chapters at a glance

Read what each chapter covers before choosing where to start.

1. Boundary, request or control?

Distinguish your own choices from controlling another person's freedom.

2. Dating honestly and expressing your wishes

Say what you are looking for without forcing a commitment.

3. Messaging and unclear contact

Discuss recurring uncertainty without treating every late reply as rejection.

4. Your pace and ending dating

Keep your own plans and be clear when you do not want to continue.

5. Intimacy and a no that stands

Keep checking mutual willingness. An earlier yes does not require anyone to continue.

6. Exclusivity and trust

Make expectations explicit and check that both people agree.

7. Support without taking over

Ask for space to be heard and discuss each person's capacity.

8. Conflict and defensive responses

Keep the issue specific and agree when to resume after a pause.

9. Jealousy, privacy and personal space

Discuss insecurity without treating permanent monitoring as the solution.

10. Family, friends and holidays

Discuss shared plans before agreeing on someone else's behalf.

11. Living together and sharing tasks

Share the noticing, planning and completion of recurring work too.

12. Money and financial boundaries

Clarify what is feasible and whether a contribution is a gift, loan or shared agreement.

13. Marriage, children and major choices

Discuss differences honestly without forcing promises about the future.

14. Promises and real change

Look at concrete behaviour after a conversation and at your own part.

15. Separation and safety

Make practical arrangements. When fear or coercion is present, confidential support comes before confrontation.

16. Your plan and three exercises

Prepare a first response, a second response and a feasible next step.

What do you say when it becomes difficult?

Each simulation has different routes. See the effect of your choices, repair an answer and finish with a practice plan. The conversations extend the course; they are not literal video excerpts.

Reflect on your starting point

What do you recognise in your own answers?

The self-tests on relationship boundaries and control and jealousy help you choose a practice point. They are reflective questionnaires, not a diagnosis or a judgement of your partner. Account and Premium access are required for these tests.
